You’ve chosen Prometheus, the most popular choice for cloud-native metrics. This hands-on learning path walks you through connecting your existing Prometheus server to Grafana Cloud.

We’re starting at milestone 3 since the course already covered why data sources matter. The journey picks up with verifying that your Prometheus server is capturing metrics, then walks you through adding the data source, configuring authentication, and testing the connection.

Each milestone below expands to show you exactly what to do. Work through them in order.

You’ll need access to your Prometheus server and knowledge of its authentication settings.
